How Our Tattoo Process Works

Have you chosen a design, tattoo location, and artist? Then get ready for your big day!

On the day of the tattoo, avoid alcohol and intoxicating substances. Come rested and well-fed. Feel free to bring a friend for support. Remember, our artists need concentration to create the best work for you.

And here we go:

  1. If you haven’t met your tattoo artist during the consultation, you’ll have the opportunity to get acquainted on the day of your tattoo session.
  2. Take the time to discuss your desires and comfortably settle into the tattoo chair.
  3. Your artist will prepare the tattoo area by shaving any hair and thoroughly disinfecting the skin.
  4. A pattern, printed using a special tattoo printer, will be carefully applied to the prepared area.
  5. Using a tattoo machine, the artist will skillfully insert ink under your skin, typically to a depth of about 1 mm. The sensation of tattooing varies depending on the area being tattooed and your personal pain threshold.
  6. Once the tattoo is complete, it will be disinfected and covered with cling film to protect it.
  7. Proper aftercare is crucial. You will need to apply an ointment, as recommended by your artist, to aid in the healing process, which can take several weeks.

How much will it cost?

Magic Tattoo is known for being one of the more affordably priced studios in Prague.

The price of a tattoo can’t be precisely determined in advance. Factors like complexity, detail, color, size, and skin type all play a role in pricing. Our tattoo artist will give you a preliminary estimate, but keep in mind that it could change based on these factors. The most accurate quote will be provided at our studio.

Our starting price is 2,400 CZK. We invite you to visit us in person for a detailed negotiation – you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

This price includes all necessary materials (ink, disposable cartridges, disinfectants, gloves, etc.). Please note that if you choose to use an anesthetic, it will incur an additional charge.

Pasha is one of our foreign tattoo artists who liked us so much that he settled here and has been tattooing with us for more than 7 years. He specializes in New School, Realism, but can handle anything you prepare for him.

Mak is the founder and owner of Magic tattoo studio. From his original profession as a graphic designer and animator, he re-invented himself as a tattoo artist in 2008 and has been enjoying his path as a tattoo artist up to now. His specialties are geometry, minimalist tattoos and dotwork, mandalas and spiritual motifs. As graphics are literally in his blood, his designs are always professionally prepared, processed and tattooed ☺.

Yana

Yana is an art school graduate and has completed countless courses in cosmetics, tattoos and permanent make-up. She has been tattooing for more than 8 years. She gathered experience in Switzerland and Russia and is currently in Prague.
She is still very happy to learn new things because tattooing is her passion. Working as a tattoo artist is her dream come true and the most important thing for her is customer satisfaction. She works with each of her customers with pleasure and enthusiasm from the idea to the realization of the tattoo, with a strictly individual approach, as she is deeply aware that each of us is different and unique.

To book an appointment, a deposit of 1,000 CZK is required. This deposit will be subtracted from the final price of your tattoo.

Please note: if you fail to show up for your appointment without canceling at least 24 hours in advance, the deposit is non-refundable.
